In the lead up to one of New Zealand’s most glamorous summer sporting events designer Caitlin Crisp has created a limited-edition CC Polo Club Capsule collection.

Inspired by the style and match-side culture of the Milford New Zealand Polo Open it’s been designed with timeless match-side dressing in mind and reflects how spectators engage with the Polo Open today.

Balancing elegance with ease, and tradition with contemporary style, the edit features three match-day essentials – a cap, tote and cotton knit jumper.

The capsule release coincides with the countdown to the 2026 Milford New Zealand Polo Open, taking place on Sunday 15 February 2026 at the Auckland Polo Club in Clevedon.

“Fashion has always been an important part of the Polo experience, and it’s exciting to see the season begin with something that reflects that,” says Milford New Zealand Polo Open executive director Lucy Ainsley. “The CC Polo Club Capsule captures the spirit of match day – polished, relaxed and designed to be worn well beyond the grounds – in a way that feels very relevant to how our audience dresses today.”

Each piece is intended to feel effortless, elevated and wearable well beyond the grounds says Crisp.

The tournament will see four elite teams compete across two groups, with world-class polo returning to Clevedon.

The opening games will see Standing Rock face off against The Brinks, while Conmara Estate takes on Experieco. Tournament play begins on Tuesday 10 February, building towards Sunday 15 February 2026, when the sub-final and final will be played on event day.

But the Milford NZ Polo Open is about far more than what happens between the goal posts.

Finals Day on Sunday 15 February delivers a full-day festival atmosphere, with gates opening from 11am and entertainment unfolding across the afternoon and into the evening. Guests can expect premium food and beverage offerings, live DJ sets, relaxed lawn seating, and multiple hospitality experiences ranging from general admission picnic-style viewing to VIP Pony Lines, Boot Park hosting and private marquees positioned field-side.
